Subhash Bridge on Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad shuts for 5 days
December 04, 2025
Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has announced the temporary closure of Subhash Bridge over the Sabarmati River for five days starting December 4, 2025, to carry out a detailed structural inspection.
According to the Bridge Project Department of AMC’s West Zone, the inspection revealed certain damages, prompting authorities to shut the bridge to ensure public safety. During this period, all traffic will be diverted to the nearby Dadhichi Bridge as an alternative route.
AMC has appealed to citizens to take note of the traffic diversion and plan their commute accordingly. DeshGujarat
