NTPC Green Energy commissions 6.6 MW wind capacity at Bhuj hybrid project

Ahmedabad: NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has announced the commencement of commercial operations of multiple renewable energy capacities in Gujarat, further strengthening its green power portfolio.
As per disclosures under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, a 6.6 MW wind capacity, part of the 100 MW Hybrid Project at Bhuj, developed by Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, was declared commercially operational with effect from December 11, 2025. With this addition, the NGEL Group’s total installed capacity increased from 7,639.075 MW to 7,645.675 MW.
In a separate regulatory disclosure, NGEL announced that the seventh part capacity of 243.66 MW under the 1,255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project in Gujarat has also commenced commercial operations.
The project is being executed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited, under the CPSU Scheme Phase-II Tranche-III. Following this addition, the total installed capacity of the NGEL Group rose from 7,645.675 MW to 7,889.335 MW.
Further expanding its renewable footprint, NGEL also declared the fifth part capacity of 37.925 MW under the 300 MW Khavda Solar Energy Project in Gujarat as commercially operational. This project forms part of the 450 MW Hybrid Tranche-V Project and is also being implemented by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited.
With this latest commissioning, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group increased to 7,927.26 MW. DeshGujarat
