Illegal properties of notorious criminal Javed Pathan bulldozed in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: In a joint operation on Wednesday, the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and Vejalpur Police demolished two properties belonging to Javed alias Thackeray Maqsudkhan Pathan, a notorious criminal involved in as many as 33 criminal cases across Ahmedabad and other parts of the state.
Javed alias Thackeray Maqsudkhan Pathan (38), a resident of the Fatehwadi Kaswapark area of Ahmedabad, has a long criminal record registered at the Vejalpur Police Station as well as several other police stations in Ahmedabad city and different districts of Gujarat.
According to police records, Pathan is accused in a series of serious offences, including attempt to murder, cases under the NDPS Act, causing grievous bodily harm, assault, illegal trafficking of intoxicants, theft and prohibition-related offences.
Police officials stated that the accused, along with his associates, had been repeatedly involved in criminal activities to establish dominance in the area. He allegedly used intimidation and harassment to instil fear among innocent citizens while engaging in illegal activities for financial gain.
The demolition drive was carried out as part of a coordinated action against habitual offenders and illegal properties linked to criminal activities. DeshGujarat
