Ahmedabad: The City Traffic Police have announced traffic restrictions and diversions in parts of Ahmedabad in view of cable-laying work to be undertaken by Torrent Power Limited.

According to a notification issued by Joint Traffic Police Commissioner N. N. Chaudhary, Torrent Power Limited, Ahmedabad, will carry out cable-laying work adjacent to the road divider between Anamika Heights and Hotel Eden, near the Gurudwara end of Pakwan Bridge. The work will be conducted round the clock from 22 December 2025 to 31 December 2025.

Restricted Route:
Vehicular movement will be completely prohibited on a one-way stretch of approximately 200 metres of the service road from the Gurudwara end of Pakwan Bridge to Hotel Eden.

Alternative Routes:
Traffic coming from Pakwan Bridge will be diverted via the Thaltej Underpass towards Gota and Gandhinagar. Vehicles approaching from below Pakwan Bridge will be allowed to use the service road near Anamika Heights, adjacent to the closed stretch, to proceed towards the Gurudwara, Thaltej, and Gandhinagar.

The traffic police have appealed to citizens to cooperate, follow traffic signs and diversion instructions, and plan their travel accordingly to avoid inconvenience during the execution of the work. DeshGujarat
