Ahmedabad: Star Air has commenced its commercial flight service between Ahmedabad and Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), adding another air connectivity option between Gujarat’s capital and Mumbai’s newly operational second airport. The airline is operating services four days a week, which are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, offering a convenient travel option with fares starting at around ₹3,399.

As per the schedule, flight S5-703 from Ahmedabad to Navi Mumbai operates with two timing patterns. On Sundays and Tuesdays, the flight departs from Ahmedabad at 1:30 PM and arrives in Navi Mumbai at 2:45 PM, with a flight duration of 1 hour 15 minutes. On Mondays and Thursdays, the same flight departs at 12:30 PM and reaches Navi Mumbai at 1:40 PM, completing the journey in 1 hour 10 minutes.

For the return leg, flight S5-704 from Navi Mumbai to Ahmedabad also operates on the same four days. On Sundays and Tuesdays, it departs from Navi Mumbai at 3:15 PM and lands in Ahmedabad at 4:30 PM, while on Mondays and Thursdays, the flight departs at 2:10 PM and arrives at 3:20 PM.

The launch of Star Air’s service is expected to boost passenger convenience and strengthen air connectivity between Ahmedabad and Navi Mumbai, particularly benefiting business travellers and frequent flyers.
