Ahmedabad: An 8 tonne weight JCB machine is lifted to place it atop a 10-storey high water tank in Sarangpur area near Kalupur railway station of Ahmedabad in order to demolish the water tank. The JCB machine was placed over the tank using a large size crane. A drone video of JCB machine atop a tall water tank has gone viral. The water tank is 75 years old and the demolition process started in December last year. Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has taken all required steps for safety during this demolition operation and Rs. 1 crore insurance is also taken in case of any accident. DeshGujarat
