Alpesh Kathiriya booked for assault

Surat: A criminal case has been registered against the year 2015 Patidar quota agitation leader Alpesh Kathiriya, his brother, and one other individual following a physical altercation in the Sarthana area.
The incident took place at the Patidar Paghdivala Kite Store, located near Kiran Chowk, which is operated by Kathiriya’s brother. According to reports, the conflict began when customers visiting the shop entered into a heated argument over the price of kites.
The situation escalated when Alpesh Kathiriya allegedly intervened to support his brother. It is claimed that during the dispute, Kathiriya and two others assaulted the customers who had come to purchase kites.
Following the incident, the complainant, identified as Chandresh, and three of his friends approached the Sarthana Police Station to file a formal complaint. Acting on the report, the police have registered a case against three individuals, including the PAAS leader.
Authorities have confirmed that an investigation is currently underway to verify the details of the assault and the events leading up to the confrontation at the store. DeshGujarat
