January 25, 2026
Gandhinagar: Ahead of the Republic Day Parade–2026 to be held in New Delhi, the District Education Offices, have appealed to all primary, secondary and higher secondary schools to actively participate in the national-level public voting process for tableaux selection.
As part of the Republic Day celebrations, tableaux from different states and departments are showcased every year to promote awareness on key themes. This year, the School Education and Literacy Department will present a tableau based on the theme “National Education Policy–2020: Rocketing Indian School Education – The Path to Viksit Bharat.”
In addition, Gujarat will highlight its cultural and patriotic legacy through its tableau titled “The Mantra of Independence: ‘Vande Mataram’.”
Voting will commence on 26 January 2026 from 9:00 am on the MyGov platform (https://www.mygov.in/home/poll/).
The District Education Officers have instructed all schools to circulate the voting link among students and parents through school groups and encourage maximum participation. The initiative aims not only to secure victory for both tableaux but also to instill a strong sense of patriotism and pride in Gujarat among students.
Officials emphasized that collective participation will help bring national recognition to Gujarat and the education sector on this prestigious occasion. DeshGujarat
