Ahmedabad: In view of the high demand for passport services witnessed in January 2026, the Regional Passport Office (RPO), Ahmedabad, will organise a Special Passport Drive on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at two Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) in the city.

The special drive will be conducted at PSK Bapunagar and PSK Vijay Cross Road, aimed at providing early appointment slots to passport applicants.

According to the RPO Ahmedabad, appointments for both Normal and Tatkal passport services for February 7 have been released on the Passport Seva Web Portal. Applicants who already have appointments scheduled for later dates, as well as those who missed their earlier appointments, will be able to reschedule their appointments for the special drive date.

Applicants have been advised to visit the official website www.passportindia.gov.in to check the required documentation in advance to ensure a smooth and hassle-free process during their visit to the PSKs.

The special drive is part of the Ministry of External Affairs’ ongoing initiative to make passport appointments available to citizens at the earliest possible date and to reduce waiting time amid rising demand. DeshGujarat
