Ahmedabad: The inauguration of the new headquarters building of the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) School Board will take place on February 13 in the presence of the State Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The new building has been constructed at a cost of ₹10.61 crore.

The AMC School Board oversees schools serving around 1.70 lakh students, 5,000 teachers, and 6,500 pensioners. On the occasion, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate 15 Smart Anupam schools.

According to AMC officials, the process of converting conventional schools into smart schools is nearing completion for 39 additional institutions. DeshGujarat
