Gujarat govt extends ₹1 crore aid to kin of CRPF jawan killed in anti-Naxal operation

Bhavnagar: Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi and Union Minister Nimuben Bambhaniya paid tributes to CRPF jawan Mehulbhai Nandalalbhai Solanki, who was martyred during an anti-Naxal operation in Chhattisgarh, and presented financial assistance of ₹1 crore to his family at Devgana village in Sihor taluka.
Solanki lost his life on May 22, 2025, after being shot during an encounter with Naxalites in the Usur police station area of Bijapur district while on duty. A native of Devgana village in Bhavnagar district, his sacrifice was honoured in the presence of officials, security personnel and local residents.
As a mark of support and sensitivity toward the martyr’s family, the Deputy Chief Minister handed over a cheque of ₹1 crore to Solanki’s mother, Nanuben Nandalalbhai Solanki.
CRPF personnel also paid homage to the fallen jawan with a ceremonial guard of honour, remembering his bravery and supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. DeshGujarat
