February 19, 2026
Gandhinagar: To enable citizens to celebrate the festivals of Holi and Dhuleti with their families in their hometowns, the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) will operate additional buses. Compared to last year, the number of extra services has been increased, with a total of 1,300 additional buses scheduled to operate more than 7,500 trips.
Special travel arrangements have been made for passengers travelling from Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Amreli, Junagadh, Bhavnagar, and Bhuj towards Godhra, Dahod, Zalod, and Chhota Udepur during the festive period.
During Holi, lakhs of devotees visit Dakor for the Phooldol festival and Dwarka for darshan. To ensure smooth transportation and avoid inconvenience to pilgrims, 450 buses have been allocated to operate 3,500 trips for devotees travelling to Dwarka and Dakor.
These special services will remain operational from February 27 to March 5, 2026. To enhance passenger convenience and reduce crowding, the corporation has provided an online booking facility. Passengers can make advance reservations through the GSRTC website (www.gsrtc.in) or the GSRTC mobile application.
For any queries related to the special operations, passengers may contact the corporation’s 24-hour toll-free helpline: 1800 233 666666. Information and tickets for the additional services will also be available at all GSRTC depots.
The GSRTC has appealed to citizens to make maximum use of these transport services and ensure safe travel during the festive season. DeshGujarat
