Railway Board Approves Ahmedabad – Patna Amrit Bharat Express

Ahmedabad: Railway Board has approved the regularisation of the 09447/09448 Ahmedabad–Patna special train as 21905/21906 Ahmedabad–Patna Amrit Bharat Express, making it the first Amrit Bharat service from Ahmedabad. The new train will run as a weekly service between the two cities, according to an official communication.
As per the schedule, Train No. 21905 Ahmedabad–Patna Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Ahmedabad at 6:30 pm every Wednesday and reach Patna at 12:30 am on Friday. In the return direction, Train No. 21906 Patna–Ahmedabad Amrit Bharat Express will leave Patna at 10:30 pm on Friday and arrive in Ahmedabad at 5:25 am on Sunday.
The train will have commercial stoppages at Anand, Chhayapuri, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Bhawani Mandi, Ramganj Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Hindaun City, Bayana, Idgah Agra, Tundla, Govindpuri, Subedarganj and Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya stations.
Railway officials said the service will run once a week, with primary maintenance to be carried out at Ahmedabad. Watering arrangements will be done at Ratlam, Kota, Govindpuri and Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya stations.
The train will run with one Amrit Bharat rake. Authorities have been instructed to implement the regular service at the earliest convenient date and give wide publicity to the new train.
