Railways Regularises Gandhigram (Ahmedabad) – Bhavnagar Special as Passenger Train

Ahmedabad: Railway Board has approved the regularisation of the 09215/09216 Gandhigram (Ahmedabad)–Bhavnagar Terminus special train as a regular passenger service. The train will run as 59231/59232 Gandhigram–Bhavnagar Terminus Passenger with daily frequency.

As per the schedule, Train No. 59231 Gandhigram–Bhavnagar Terminus Passenger will depart from Gandhigram at 06:35 hrs and arrive at Bhavnagar Terminus at 11:25 hrs. In the return direction, Train No. 59232 Bhavnagar Terminus–Gandhigram Passenger will depart from Bhavnagar Terminus at 17:00 hrs and reach Gandhigram at 21:35 hrs, as per railway notification.

The train will have commercial stoppages at Vastrapur, Sarkhej, Bavla, Dholka, Dhandhuka, Botad, Dhola, Sihor Gujarat, and Bhavnagar Para stations.

Railway officials said the service will run on a daily basis, and maintenance of the rake will be carried out at the Sabarmati coaching depot. The train will run with a conventional ICF rake consisting of 12 coaches, including 10 general second-class coaches and two SLRD coaches.

The rake link will be maintained with the Surendranagar–Bhavnagar Terminus Passenger service for operational convenience, officials added. DeshGujarat
