Ahmedabad to Host India vs Sri Lanka ODI Match; Rajkot Set for T20 Clash in 2026 Home Season

Ahmedabad: Ahmedabad and Rajkot will host international matches during Team India’s home season 2026–27, as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the fixtures for the upcoming international calendar.
According to the schedule released by the BCCI, India will host Sri Lanka in December 2026 for a white-ball series consisting of three ODIs and three T20 Internationals, with matches scheduled in multiple cities across the country, including Ahmedabad and Rajkot.
As per the fixtures, Ahmedabad will host the third ODI on December 19, 2026, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, while Rajkot will host the first T20I on December 22, 2026.
The ODI series between India and Sri Lanka will be played in Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, whereas the T20I matches will take place in Rajkot, Cuttack and Pune.
The BCCI said the international home season 2026–27 will feature four visiting teams West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Australia in a multi-format schedule comprising 22 international matches across 17 cities.
The matches in Ahmedabad and Rajkot are expected to draw large crowds, as both venues regularly host high-profile international fixtures.
