30-Day Block at Surat Railway Station, Some Trains to Operate from Udhna

Surat: The modernization work at Surat railway station has reached a crucial stage. As part of the station redevelopment project, the railways will carry out the launching of a U-roof structure between platforms 2–3 and 4. For this purpose, the railway administration has issued a Traffic Working Order (TWO) for 30 days, which will affect several long-distance trains operating from Surat.

According to railway officials, the work will begin on March 30, 2026, and will continue for 30 consecutive days.

During this period, for the convenience of passengers and to facilitate the work, some trains will be operated from Udhna station instead of Surat.

Changes in train operations

Train No. 12935 Bandra Terminus–Surat Intercity Express: From March 30 to April 28, 2026, the train will terminate at Udhna instead of Surat and return from there.

Train No. 20925 Surat–Amravati Superfast Express: From April 2 to April 26, 2026, the train will depart from Udhna instead of Surat on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Train No. 20926 Amravati–Surat Superfast Express: From March 30 to April 27, 2026, the train will run only up to Udhna on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays and will remain cancelled between Udhna and Surat.
