Gandhinagar: Adani Total Gas Ltd. has once again increased the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by ₹1.50 per kg in Ahmedabad. With the latest revision, the retail price of CNG has reached ₹83.77.
The hike comes at a time when fuel prices and essential commodities have already seen an upward trend since April 1, further burdening consumers.
Recent Price Trend Shows Continued Increase
Although Adani had provided brief relief by reducing CNG prices by ₹1.21 on January 1, 2026, the rates have since been increased twice this year:
- February 7, 2026 – ₹0.50 hike
- April 2, 2026 – ₹1.50 hike
This marks a continued upward trend, with prices rising by around ₹2.60 after the earlier reduction.
