Where did it rain in Gujarat today? Here are the figures

Ahmedabad: Several parts of Gujarat witnessed unseasonal rainfall between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm on April 3, according to data released by the State Emergency Operation Center, Gandhinagar. Coastal and Saurashtra regions recorded the highest precipitation, with scattered showers reported across north and central Gujarat as well.

Devbhumi Dwarka district received the highest rainfall during the period, with Kalyanpur taluka recording over an inch (26 mm) of rain, followed by Khambhalia with 16 mm. Okhamandal and Bhanvad also reported light showers.

In Gir Somnath district, Patan-Veraval recorded 25 mm rainfall, while Talala received light rain. Bhavnagar district saw moderate showers, with Bhavnagar city recording 17 mm and Ghogha 16 mm, while Sihor received 2 mm.

Parts of Kutch also experienced light rainfall, with Anjar and Mundra recording 5 mm each, and Gandhidham receiving 4 mm. In Jamnagar, Lalpur recorded 3 mm rainfall.

North Gujarat regions reported scattered light showers. Patan taluka received 6 mm rainfall, while Sarswati and Sidhpur recorded 5 mm and 3 mm respectively. Banaskantha’s Palanpur saw 2 mm rainfall, and Satlasana in Mehsana recorded 1 mm.

Overall, the rainfall activity remained uneven, with coastal districts witnessing relatively higher precipitation compared to other parts of the state. DeshGujarat
