AMC ties up with Bharat Taxi to integrate on-demand taxi services with AMTS, BRTS
June 27, 2026
Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bharat Taxi (Sahakar Taxi Co-operative Ltd.) at the Mahatma Gandhi Convention Center in Gandhinagar on Saturday.
The new MoU focuses on providing first and last-mile connectivity to the city’s bus passengers. Bharat Taxi will integrate its services with AMC’s MaaS (Mobility as a Service) platform. As a result, passengers will be able to avail on-demand taxi services through a single integrated platform along with AMTS, BRTS and, in the future, other public transport services.
According to the AMC, this initiative will reduce dependence on private vehicles, increase passenger convenience, and further boost sustainable urban mobility, digital governance, and citizen-centric public services in the city.
According to the corporation, this initiative will provide more transport options to the city’s residents and help make public transport more integrated and efficient through the MaaS platform. DeshGujarat
