16 Rescued as Private Bus Gets Stuck on Flooded Road in Valsad

Valsad: Sixteen passengers were safely rescued after a private bus got stranded on the Kopareli–Vapi main road near Ambheti village in Nana Pondha taluka of Valsad district amid heavy rains.
According to the Ambheti Gram Panchayat, the rescue operation was carried out jointly by the local police, gram panchayat officials and villagers. All 16 passengers on board were safely evacuated without any injuries.
Following the rescue, authorities barricaded both ends of the road and closed it to vehicular traffic as a precautionary measure to prevent any further incidents.
The administration has appealed to citizens to avoid the affected route, follow safety guidelines and cooperate with officials by adhering to traffic restrictions and other instructions issued during the ongoing rains. DeshGujarat
