AMC Water Supply to Be Disrupted in Parts of Ahmedabad
July 23, 2026
Ahmedabad: Residents of several areas in Paldi ward are likely to face disruption in drinking water supply on Thursday as the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) undertakes emergency repairs on a leaking 900 mm mild steel (MS) trunk pipeline.
The affected areas include Paldi village, Ellisbridge, Fatehpura and residential societies around Shreyas Tekra.
AMC officials said the repair work is essential to stop water leakage and maintain the long-term reliability of the city’s water supply network. To reduce inconvenience, the civic body has arranged water tankers in the affected localities until normal water supply is restored. DeshGujarat
