Ahmedabad BRTS Announces Route Changes for Tiranga Yatra on August 12

Ahmedabad: Several Ahmedabad BRTS routes will be partially diverted on Wednesday, August 12, in view of the Tiranga Yatra from Big Bazaar in Raipur to Sarangpur Darwaja.

According to the Ahmedabad BRTS authorities, the route changes will come into effect from 2 pm and remain in place until the yatra concludes or further instructions are issued by the police. Passengers have been advised to take note of the changes and cooperate with the arrangements.

The following routes will be partially diverted:

Route 101 (RTO Circle): Services will operate between RTO Circle and Government Litho Press Cabin instead of the usual route.

Route 07 (Narol–Sarangpur Darwaja): Services will operate between Narol and Astodia Darwaja.

Route 14 (Sanand Circle–Sarangpur Darwaja): Services will operate between Sanand Circle and Astodia Darwaja.

Route 02 (Odhav S.P. Ring Road–Iskcon Cross Road): Services will operate via Anuvrat Circle, Kankaria Gate No. 3, Football Ground, Bhulabhai Char Rasta, Majur Gam, Geeta Mandir and Astodia Darwaja.

Route 11 (Odhav S.P. Ring Road–LD Engineering College): Services will follow the same diversion via Anuvrat Circle, Kankaria Gate No. 3, Football Ground, Bhulabhai Four Roads, Majur Gam, Geeta Mandir and Astodia Darwaja.

BRTS routes to operate as usual

The following routes will continue to operate as per their regular schedules:

1. Maninagar–Ghuma Village (Route 01)

2. RTO Circle–Maninagar (Route 03)

3. LD Engineering College–Jhundal Circle/Ambawadi Township (Route 04)

4. Vasna–Hanspura Ring Road (Route 05)

5. Narol–Naroda ST Workshop (Route 06)

6. Jhundal Circle–Government Litho Press (Route 07)

7. Bhadaj Circle–Naroda Village (Route 08)

8. Maninagar–Gota Vasantnagar Township (Route 09)

9. RTO Circle–Rabari Colony (Route 12)

10. Iskcon Cross Road–RTO Circle/Airport (Route 15)

11. Sanand Circle–Nehru Nagar (Route 16)

12. South Bopal Terminus–Nehru Nagar (Route 17)

Bus operations to remain suspended at five stations

BRTS bus operations will remain suspended at the following stations/cabins during the arrangements:

• Kalupur Ghee Bazaar
• Kalupur Railway Station
• Karnamukteshwar Mahadev
• Sarangpur Darwaja
• Raipur Darwaja
