AMC Dental College to Add Six MDS Seats

Ahmedabad: The AMC Dental College and Hospital in the Khokhra area of the city will add six new postgraduate seats for Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses, taking the total number of seats in the concerned departments to 12.
The additional seats have been approved for the Department of Orthodontics and the Department of Conservative Dentistry, with three seats being added to each department. The approval was granted by the Government of India’s Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Dental Education Section) through an order dated March 27, 2026.
The college currently has three MDS seats in each of the two departments. With the addition of six seats, each department will now have six MDS seats.
Renovation work is currently underway in both departments. According to the AMC Dental College, the departments are being equipped with modern facilities and will be fully air-conditioned.
