AMC Seals Metro Shopping Center in Vastral Over Mosquito Breeding

Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) Health Department has taken strict action to control and prevent mosquito-borne diseases after waterlogging and mosquito breeding were found at the Metro Shopping Center in Vastral.
A Health Department team inspected various locations in the Vastral area as part of its mosquito-borne disease prevention drive. During the inspection of the Metro Shopping Center, officials found waterlogging and mosquito breeding at several places within the complex.

Taking the situation seriously as a potential public health risk, the Health Department initiated immediate legal action. As part of the action, the Metro Shopping Center complex has been sealed by the AMC under the relevant provisions.
