GIDC Revises Industrial Plot Allotment Rates Across Gujarat for FY 2026-27

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) has revised the allotment prices of industrial plots across its estates for the financial year 2026-27, with the new rates coming into effect in August 2026. The revised schedule covers industrial estates across Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bharuch, Jamnagar, Kutch and several other districts.

According to GIDC’s allotment price review circular, the revised rates will apply to the allotment of industrial land and will also be considered for other charges linked to land allotment, including transfer charges, non-utilisation penalties and other fees under GIDC policies. The circular also states that the revised rates will remain applicable until further orders.

In Ahmedabad, the allotment rate has been fixed at Rs 10,650 per square metre for Behrampura, while Kathwada, Naroda and Vatva have been placed at Rs 11,150 per square metre. The rate for Naroda’s housing-to-industrial area is higher at Rs 15,760 per square metre. Sanand-II (Bol) has been fixed at Rs 6,070 per square metre, while the rate for Sanand (RIDC) is Rs 870 per square metre.

In Gandhinagar, the allotment rate is Rs 10,690 per square metre for the Gandhinagar (Elect) and Gandhinagar (Engineering) estates, while the rate for the IT SEZ is Rs 7,560 per square metre. Bhat has a rate of Rs 18,550 per square metre.

Among other major industrial centres, Makarpura in Vadodara has been assigned a rate of Rs 11,150 per square metre, while Nandesari is at Rs 5,880. In Bharuch, Ankleshwar has been fixed at Rs 4,740 per square metre and Dahej at Rs 3,780.

Surat’s Sachin and Pandesara estates have rates of Rs 8,940 per square metre, while Katargam and Kathodara are at Rs 11,150 and Rs 11,950 respectively.

In Rajkot, the revised rates include Rs 12,780 per square metre for Aji and Rs 20,030 for Bhaktinagar. Morbi has been fixed at Rs 2,990 per square metre. In Jamnagar, the rate for the main Jamnagar estate is Rs 7,190 per square metre, while Jamnagar-I (Shanker Tekri) is Rs 8,940.

The schedule also covers industrial estates in Kutch. Gandhidham has an allotment rate of Rs 10,320 per square metre, while Anjar-Anjar (New) and Bhuj are both at Rs 890 per square metre.

The revised schedule provides the new benchmark rates for land allotment across GIDC estates for FY 2026-27 and will serve as the basis for transactions and related charges under the corporation’s policies. DeshGujarat
