AMC demolition drive to clear 83 illegal shops for road widening

Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has launched a demolition drive against 83 non-residential illegal structures falling within the proposed road alignment between Trikamlal Crossroads and Everest Crossroads in the Saraspur-Rakhiyal ward on Thursday.
The action covers a 700-metre stretch with a proposed road width of 30.50 metres. The AMC is carrying out the demolition/removal operation with local police bandobast.
