Railways Approves New Halt for Bandra – Jaipur Express at Navsari
October 14, 2026
Ahmedabad: The Railway Board has approved an experimental stoppage for the Bandra Terminus–Jaipur Express at Navsari railway station in Gujarat, according to an official circular issued on September 22, 2026.
The approval covers train numbers 22933 and 22934, operating between Bandra Terminus in Mumbai and Jaipur. The new stoppage will come into effect from an early convenient date, as specified in the Railway Board’s circular.
The decision follows a proposal submitted by Western Railway seeking a halt for the train at Navsari. The Railway Board has directed the concerned railway authorities to closely monitor ticket sales at the station during the experimental period to assess passenger demand.
The authorities have also been instructed to publicise the new stoppage widely and ensure compliance with the directive. DeshGujarat
