Prince Alois and Princess Sophie of Liechtenstein visit Vadodara; tour Hilti India Plant, Laxmi Vilas Palace

Vadodara: Prince Alois and Princess Sophie of Liechtenstein visited Vadodara district during their diplomatic visit to India, touring the Hilti India manufacturing plant in Savli and the historic Laxmi Vilas Palace.

At the Hilti India plant, the royal couple inspected the manufacturing processes and learned about the facility’s operations and industrial activities. Company officials briefed them on the production processes and the plant’s functioning.

The visit also included a meeting with company officials, during which discussions focused on strengthening trade relations, industrial collaboration and economic ties between India and Liechtenstein.

Following their visit to the manufacturing facility, Prince Alois and Princess Sophie toured Laxmi Vilas Palace, one of Vadodara’s prominent historical landmarks. They were welcomed by members of the Gaekwad royal family, Shubhanginidevi Gaekwad and Samarjit Gaekwad, and were introduced to the city’s cultural heritage and architectural legacy.

Earlier, the royal couple received a welcome at Vadodara Airport upon their arrival.
