Kankaria Lakefront to Remain Open on Mondays During Diwali Vacation

Ahmedabad: The Kankaria Lakefront will remain open to the public on Mondays, November 9, 16 and 23, 2026, during the Diwali vacation, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy its recreational facilities during the school holidays.

All attractions within the Kankaria Lakefront complex, including the Nocturnal Zoo, the main zoo, Naginawadi, Butterfly Park and Kids City, will also remain operational on these three days as usual.

The arrangement has been made to enable citizens, particularly children, to make the most of the Diwali vacation by visiting the lakefront and enjoying its various recreational facilities.

The lakefront usually remains closed on Mondays for maintenance and cleaning. However, considering the expected rush of visitors during the vacation, it will remain open on these three Mondays. DeshGujarat
