Dummy Enrolment Suspected After 318 Students Skip Exams at Odhav School
November 04, 2026
Ahmedabad: Natraj High School in Odhav has received a notice from the Education Department after an inspection revealed that 318 students from Classes 9 to 12 were absent during examinations. The District Education Officer (DEO) has sought an explanation from the school over suspected dummy enrolments and summoned its management for a hearing on November 11.
Following the inspection, the school was directed to submit a complete list of absent students but failed to comply. The department suspects that the students may be dummy enrolments. The hearing will consider a proposed reduction in the number of classes, with the school management instructed to appear along with relevant documents. DeshGujarat
