November 04, 2026
Junagadh: Narsinh Mehta Lake in Junagadh will remain open to visitors until midnight from November 7 to 15, with special arrangements made for the Diwali festive season. The lake will, however, remain closed on November 9 for routine maintenance work.
The decision was taken following instructions from the Mayor of Junagadh Municipal Corporation to facilitate residents and tourists visiting the city during the festive period.
The extended timings are aimed at allowing residents to enjoy the lake’s natural surroundings with their families and providing greater convenience to tourists visiting Junagadh during Diwali.
The municipal corporation has made special arrangements to accommodate visitors during the extended hours, enabling families to enjoy an evening outing at the lake throughout the festive period. DeshGujarat
