Central University of Gujarat to come up in Dabhoi taluka

Delhi/Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has given in-principal approval for ‘Central University of Gujarat’ at Kundheda village of Dabhoi taluka in Vadodara district of Gujarat. This information was shared by Education Minister Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama.
Chudasama was today attending a function of launching of ‘Teacher Education Portal’ by Human Resource Development minister Smriti Irani in Delhi.
He discussed Rs 584.63 crore fund allocation under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan(SSA) with Smriti. Chudasama held meeting with Smriti along with another two ministers from Gujarat Smt Vasuben Trivedi and Nanubhai Vanani.
Improvements in SSA and RMSA funding related rules, state govt partnership in new education policy, AICTE and PCI approvals etc issues were discussed during the meeting.
