Ram Kathakar Shri Morari Bapu will host Asmita Parva at his ashram in Mahuva between 27 and 30th March 2010. Following is detail of the events:

27th January, Saturday: Gujarat Diaspora literature – Balvant Jani will conduct the session between 9 am to 12 noon. Shri Jayendra Shekhdiwala will talk about Adil Mansuri, Shri Mahesh Champaklal will talk about Madhu Rai and Nutan Jani will talk about Panna Nayak.

The second session will be conducted by Shri Tushar Shukla between 3.30-6.30 pm on the subject: Gujarati poetry music. A discussion will take place about Suresh Joshi, Amar Bhatt and Rasbihari Desai. At 8.30 pm classical vocal and instrument music and dance will be presented.

On 28th March, Shri Raghuvir Chaudhary will conduct 9 am-12 noon session in which Bhagirath Brahmbhatt will talk about Suresh Dalal’s poetry. In 3.30-6.30pm session conducted by Vinod Joshi, actresses Rupa Divetiya and Sarita Joshi and actor Upendra Trivedi will present a programme on their journey of acting. At 8.30 pm, classical vocal programme will be presented.

On 29th March, Shri Harikrushna Pathak will conduct a session in which Shraddha Trivedi will present children stories, Ishwar Parmar will present poetry and Yashwant Mehta will present life stories. In the evening Shri Ravindra Parekh will conduct a session in which Shri Ravindra Parekh, Udayan Thakkar, Urvish Vasavada, Krushna Dave, Lalit Trivedi, Vanchit Kumkumvala will present children literature. In the evening at 8.30 pm, classical dance programme will be held.

On the last day on 30th March which is Hanuman Jayanti, Shri Morari Bapu will present Kailash Lalit Kala award to Akbar Padamshi for painting, Lata Mangeshkar for vocal, and also to Ustad Abdul Halam Zafarkha(Sitar), Yamini Krushnamurti(Bharat Natyam) and Pandit Sapan Chaudhary(Tabla). After Morari Bapu’s address the event will conclude.
