Surat: Organizers of Rajasvi Sanman Samaroh in Surat, Mahesh Savani and Mukesh Patel who had in the past played role of commonly agreed mediator between the state government and Hardik Patel for Hardik’s release from jail today released a video in response to Hardik’s ‘baseless’ allegations.

In this video, Hardik’s brother is seen collecting Rs 30 lakh from Mukesh Patel. Mukesh Patel said Hardik had taken this money for compromise through his brother Ravi. This was the first installment. He had sent message through his brother Ravi’s Whatsapp account which is present with them.

Mukesh Patel and Mahesh Savani in another video clip said they have many other videos to release in order to expose Hardik Patel, and they shall do it in future. They said they were forgiving Hardik in the past considering him as one of the boys from community.

Meanwhile Hardik Patel has accepted that Rs 25 lakh sum was collected from Savani and Mukesh Patel but that amount was for Lapsi programme in the course of agitation. Hardik’s organization Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti(PAAS) also released a video clip in which in a public meeting announcement was made on Mukesh Patel and Mahesh Savani’s behalf on Rs 25 lakh donation from their side.

In response to this Mukesh Patel said he had donated Rs 25 lakh for Maa Uma Khodal Maha Lapsi event by announcing it in public and that was different issue. This particular amount Hardik’s brother Ravi was accepting from him was given for personal use of Hardik.

Mukeshbhai said he had other things to reveal too which include the evidences regarding how money was sent to Hardik through ‘angadia pedhi’.

Reacting to this video row, another Patidar agitation front Sardar Patel Group(SPG) convener said it was shocking to learn this duplicity and money-taking activity in garb of agitation.

Hardik’s former aides Chirag Patel and Ketan Patel who left him recently after making allegations of crores of Rupees of corruption on Hardik’s part reacted and said the video proves they were true when they alleged Hardik was making money and living luxurious life through money collected for agitation and for families of those who died during the agitation.
