Joint Exercise of Indian Air Force and Royal Air Force of Oman begins at Jamnagar

Ahmedabad: A five day long joint exercise of Indian Air Force (IAF) and Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) started today at Air Force Base Jamnagar.
This is the fourth bilateral air exercise between the two countries which has been named as “Ex Eastern Bridge-IV”.
Defence Spokesperson Wing Commander Abhishek Matiman said that in this edition of the exercise, both the Air Forces are participating in Joint Air Defence and Offensive Counter Air Missions for which the difficulty levels will be increased gradually to large force engagements. This Joint exercise will provide a vast exposure to all the participating aircrew towards enhancing exposure to friendly Air Force and consolidating the military ties between both the countries.
The Royal Air Force of Oman contingent arrived at Air Force Station Jamnagar two day ago to participate in Eastern Bridge IV and were welcomed by Air Commodore Sanjay Nimesh VSM, Air Officer Commanding Air Force Station Jamnagar, he said.
