Vaghela’s statement meaningless as Congress itself is nowhere in race: Pandya

Gandhinagar: State BJP Spokesperson Shri Bharat Pandya today in a statement said, Congress leader Shankersinhji Vaghela’s remark is the result of Congress party’s internal groupism. Shri Vaghela is known for giving controversial statements. His meeting in Delhi, his private discussion with Sharad Pawar and his today’s statement seem the result of internal rivalry among Congress leaders.

These developments indicate that Congress party is facing the issue of internal groupism. It is improper on BJP’s part to give comment on this, but when Congress itself is nowhere in the race in elections, the meaningless statement that ‘I am not in the race for the post of CM’ appears to be just an attempt to get space in media. Such statement doesn’t make any sense and it is meaningless.

Shri Pandya said, while Congress is giving programme under the banner of ‘Congress is coming’, the people of Gujarat want to ask, where was the Congress until now? Congress has never given programmes for people’s good, the programmes to serve the people, Congress has given programmes just to create animosity among various sections of societies. People are very well aware of this fact. Whenever elections come, Congress comes, and when elections are over, Congress disappears.

Shri Pandya said, any number of political alliances will not be able to break an unbreakable emotional bond between the BJP and the people of Gujarat. Political equation is not going to change here.

The party enjoys global level progressive leadership of Shi Narendrabhai Modi and successful strategist Shri Amitbhai Shah, both from Gujarat.

Many schemes such as Seva Setu and Pragati Setu are in implementation under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani.

Under the State BJP president Shri Jitubhai Vaghani’s leadership, BJP with its strong organization down to booth level continuously gives programmes such as Adivasi Vikas Gaurav Yatra and health camps to serve the people. The people of Gujarat have been always with BJP and will continue to stay with BJP.

BJP has won 26 out of 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat, same way as it won 73 out of 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh in the 2014 elections. BJP’s ‘Ashwamegh Rath’ with the slogan of ‘300 in UP and 150 in Gujarat’ is unstoppable, said Shri Pandya.
