Ahmedabad: The ministers of Raghuvar Das government of mineral rich eastern state of Jharkhand are learning the nuances of management with regard to good-governance and development strategies at IIM-Ahmedabad.

Total 9 of 11 ministers of Jharkhand including Saryu Rai, C P Singh, Neera Yadav and Chandraprakash Chaudhary are taking up a 3 day training programme in the institute, which is deemed one of the leading management institute in the world.

Rai today told newsmen here that the programme was part of the orientation programme of the state government.

‘We are learning the minute things about good-governance and development strategy in the 3 day programme which started today,’ he said.

It is understood that the BJP government in Jharkhand, under which the state has found position among top states for ease of doing business in a world bank report, in an attempt to further improve the working efficiency of its ministers has chosen IIM-A, which apart from training many top corporate leaders had also trained many big political leaders including some head of states and former heads.
