PM inaugurates Textile India 2017 exhibition in Gandhinagar, takes a round of stalls

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi joined by Chief Minister Rupani, Andhra Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and union textile minister Smriti Irani visited the Textile India 2017 exhibition at helipad in Gandhinagar after inaugurating it. Presented is video of his visit.
Textile India 2017 is being participated by 2500 international buyers, more than 1,000 international and domestic exhibitors, 15,000 domestic visitors. The trade fair is spread over 78,000 sqm area. It has 13 exhibition halls and pavilions. Three-day mega textile fair will have 22 round table and 6 conferences. 13 exhibition halls and them pavilions wiwll have country specific sessions and state sessions along with B2B, B2G and G2G events. Some of the state pavilions feature Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Karnataka, Jharkhand and Telangana based textiles.
