Lalu,Ahmed Patel criticize Nitish for returning relief money

Congress leader and political adviser of UPA Chief Sonia Gandhi, Shri Ahmed Patel today criticized Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his decision to return back Gujarat’s Rs five crore aid for Kosi flood relied.

Patel was at southern Gujarat’s Vyara to attend a function with union minister Kantilal Bhuriya.

Patel told reporters, “Nitish should understand that Modi had not donated money to Kosi flood relief fund from his pocket. It was the money from the people of Gujarat. This is humiliation of Gujarat.”

RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav also criticized Nitish on same line. He also said the money that Gujarat had donated had not come from Narendra Modi’s pocket.

BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said there should be no politics on calamities. BJP leader Prem Kumar(roads building minister) said, Nitish Kumar should give second thought on his decision. JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav didn’t comment on Kosi flood relied issue but he said BJP-JD(U) alliance will continue and both parties will fight assembly election together.

Hitting out at Nitish Kumar for returning flood relief money to Gujarat, actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha today said it reflected Kumar’s “arrogance” and wanted the BJP leadership to deal firmly with him so that the party’s “self-respect” is not compromised.

LJP leader Ramvilas Paswan said, “the act of returning money is just a drama and an attempt to woo Muslim votes. Was Narendra Modi not communal when his governement had given money to Bihar? This, like all other moves of Nitish Kumar, only exposes his doubled facedness.”

Congress leader Azmi Bari said, when Nitish received money from Gujarat, he was feeling nice, and now he wants to return it back. Communist party said, Nitish Kumar is opportunist. Congress leader Subodh Kant Sahay said returning back Gujarat’s money is Nitish Kumar’s stunt.

Meanwhile Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi visited RSS office in Patna and consulted the RSS leaders on this latest political development.
