Gandhinagar:Even after withdrawal of south west monsoon, rain can play spoilsport during Navratri at isolated places in Gujarat this year.

As per the met bulletin though the weather would remain dry for next two days, there would be light to moderate rain/thunder showers at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region, Suarashtra, Kutch and Diu on October 10, the first day of Navratri.

Similar spells of rain would take place at isolated places in those areas on the next day too.

Meanwhile, the weather remained summer like across the state today with at least six places recording over 40 °C temperatures. Bhuj saw the highest of a record 42.4 °C.
