Modi in Delhi today to attend NDC meeting

Guajrat Chief Minister Narendra Modi may visit New Delhi today morning to attend the National Development Council(NDC) meeting.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will preside over the meeting to be attended by all Chief Ministers, Chief Secretaries and other officials.
The basic theme of the NDC meeting will be mid-term appraisal of the 11th five-year plan.
The main issues to be discussed at the NDC meeting were Urbanization, Agriculture, Extremist activities, Water Management, Tribal Development and Environment Management.
The National Development Council (NDC) will take up the issue of naxalism in the country at a meeting for the first time.
It is possible that Modi may meet senior BJP leaders during his Delhi visit and discuss CBI’s grip over Amit Shah in Sohrabuddin encounter case.
