Two seats of Rajya Sabha in Gujarat to fall vacant as Shah, Smriti elected to Lok Sabha

Gandhinagar: Two Rajya Sabha seats will fall vacant in Gujarat as sitting Rajya Sabha members from Gujarat, Amit Shah and Smriti Irani have emerged victorious on Amethi and Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seats respectively.
While Amit Shah has won Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat by margin of over 5 lakh votes, Smriti has through her over five-year long hardwork and repot with the people of Amethi has defeated Congress president Rahul Gandhi and emerged as a giant killer.
