Gujarat CM announces Rs. 2.50 per SCM price cut in natural gas

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today announced to reduce natural gas prices by Rs.2.50 per Standard Cubic Meter (SCM) to encourage small, medium and large scale industries of the state to use it.
The current rates of natural gas were reviewed in a meeting recently held under the chairmanship of Rupani. This announcement has been made following a suggestion made by Chief Minister in the meeting to reduce natural gas prices for industries using it in the state.
Currently, 8,910 industrial units use natural gas across India out of which more than 50%, that is 4903 units are in Gujarat.
