Myanmar Muslim couple living in Gujarat illegally for over a decade nabbed

Gandhidham: The special operation group of the Kutch West police in the port city of Mundra in Gujarat has arrested a Muslim couple from Myanmar living illegally there for past over 10 years.
SP West Kutch Saurabh Tolambia today said that the couple aged around 35, also have 2 to 3 children with them.
‘They were nabbed on Saturday on the basis of a tip off and are being interrogated by different agencies also,’ he said.
To a query he categorically said that it was not yet ascertained whether or not they belonged to Rohingya community of Myanmar.
He also said that one thing was pretty clear that they could not be a Rohingya refugee as the issue has emerged much after they had entered India.
He said that detailed interrogation was on.
