Somnath Temple to introduce online booking for darshan to prevent crowding

Somnath: Somnath temple is reopening on June 8 for visitors, however Shri Somnath Trust has today in a statement said, the visitors are advised to pay visit to Somnath mandir post June 12 after online booking in available slot. Shri Somnath Trust has also issued broad guideline for visitors:
– Wearing mask is compulsory
– Round markings need to be followed when in queue
– Entry only through sanitization arrangement
– Railing or any other place in the temple must not be touched
– Those above 65 or below 10 age can’t be brought in
– Dandvat pranam not allowed
– Immediate exit from the temple after darshan
– A link of slots to be put on www.Somnath.org website from June 12. One needs to do online booking before visiting the temple for darshan
– Mandir to stay open during 7.30 to 11.30 am and 12.30 to 6.30 pm only
– No entry for visitors during aarti sessions
