Virpur and Mahuva towns observe strike protesting attempt of attack on Morari Bapu

Bhavnagar: Virpur and Mahuva towns in Gujarat observed strike today against attempt of attack on Ram kathakar Morari Bapu by disqualified BJP MLA of Dwarka constituency Pabubha Manek earlier this week. Meanwhile number of followers, religious leaders and politicians reached Talgajarda village in Bhavnagar district to meet Morari Bapu.
One of persons Rameshwardas Hariyani who met Morari Bapu with a group of followers told media persons that a group of saints would on Monday meet Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani in Gandhinagar and demand that Pabubha Manek should apologize for his misbehave with Morari Bapu and he should face action.
Senior Cabinet minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and State BJP spokesperson Bharat Pandya also visited Morari Bapu in Talgajarda. After the meeting, both leaders told media persons that they were connected to Morari Bapu since many years and they had come to meet him in the backdrop of Dwarka incident. When asked whether Pabubha would face action, Bhupendrasinh in his reply to media persons said it’s upto police to take action.
Worth noting that no police complaint has been lodged over Dwarka incident. Morari Bapu has maintained his public stand that the issue is over. Morari Bapu said, ‘I am a person who can ask to forgive and do forgive.’
Bhavnagar Lok Sabha member Bhartiben Shiyal also visited Morari Bapu. District police chief also visited the ashram to assess security arrangements.
Chief Minister Rupani and State BJP spokesperson Bharat Pandya had earlier condemned Pabubha’s misbehave.
In his year 2017 katha session, Morari Bapu had made some remarks about Shri Krishna, video clip of which was viral on social media platforms in recent months. Aahir community had protested Morari Bapu’s remarks on Shri Krishna and asked him to apologize. Morari Bapu had tendered apology if anyone is hurt in his katha session. However Aahir community insisted that Morari Bapu visits Dwarkadhish temple and tender apology. Accordingly Morari Bapu earlier this week visited Dwarka temple and later spoke to media persons about the same. Pabubha Manek, local Vagher community leader and disqualified BJP MLA suddenly entered the room and rushed toward Morari Bapu with anger and abusive remarks. Local MP Poonam Madam who is from Aahir community intervened and took Paubha outside the room. Morari Bapu later changed route to retutn to Talgajarda from Dwarka on request of his followers for safety reasons.
