Narhari richest among four RS MPs elected from Gujarat; Shaktisinh only among four to have criminal charges

Gandhinagar: Among four candidates elected from Gujarat to Rajya Sabha this month, 64-year old BJP candidate Narhari Amin is richest with total assets worth Rs. 75 crore around. 66 year old BJP candidate Ramilaben Bara has assets worth Rs. 3 crore. Another BJP candidate Abhay Bhardwah has around 2.68 crore assets. Lone Congress candidate who stayed victorious, Shaktisinh Gohil has assets worth Rs. 1.19 crore around.
All four candidates have submitted the details of total assets in their affidavit while filing nomination for Rajya Sabha election. Shaktisinh’s total assets are worth Rs. 1,19,91,079. Abhay Bhardwaj – Rs. 2,68,44,300. Ramilaben Bara – Rs. 3,32,40,806. Narhari Amin – Rs. 75,58,97,209. In fact Narhari is on 8th rank among 62 MPs elected to Rajay Sabha this month when it comes to value of assets.
Out of four newly elected MPs from Gujarat, only Shaktisinh Gohil has record of criminal case against him under IPC sections 341, 342, 323, 332, 353, 504, 143, 147, 144 and 188. None of these is serious IPC.
