Countdown begins for Shilanyas of Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya by PM Narendra Modi

Ayodhya: Lot of preparations are going on in Ayodhya ahead of historic occasion on August 5 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay foundation stone for construction of a grand Ram Mandir.
– Saket Maha Vidhyalay to Saryu Tat area is being colored in yellow. Locals called it Pitambari in which Ayodhya is dressed.
– Sanskar Bharti and Ayodhya Mahotsav Nyas members are making clay pots to decor the entire road from Saket Maha Vidhyalaya to Ayodhya Road. In total 5100 clay pots are being readied.
– On fourth and firth August, 3500 police men, 40 companies of PAC, 10 companies of RAF , 2 DIG and 8 SPs will be deployed in Ayodhya. ADG (Law and Order) will take care of security arrangements. Cops selected for Ayodhya bandobast are below 45 age.

– Local administration had earlier planned ground breaking and inauguration of several local projects during the function, however the Prime Minister’s Office clearly conveyed that this was not government function and the Prime Minister was coming to Ayodhya to attend a private function organized by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust. With this clear message, the local administration has dropped plaque unveiling plans and cultural exhibition which was planned under the Culture department.

– Kumbhars in Ayodhya are working day and night to prepare 1.25 lakh diyas (oil lamps) that are to be lit on the occasion of Shilanyas of Ram Mandir.
– The Prime Minister’s convoy will pass through Saket Maha Vidhyalay to the venue of function. A helipad has been built in Saket Maha Vidhyalaya.
– The Prime Minister ahead of reaching the venue will also visit Hanuman Gadhi for darshan and puja. “We have been given seven minutes for the whole premises tour of which three minutes have been allocated for prayers. Today, it will be decided which route the Prime Minister would be coming from. The front has 85 stairs and there are 36 at the back,” said Raju Das, a priest.

Ayodhya: Ranjit Mandal, a sculptor from Assam is making statues depicting Lord Ram's journey from childhood till coronation. His statues will be placed at courtyard of #RamTemple.

– Samples of soil and water from over 40 holy places have reached Ayodhya for Shilanyas function. An artist from Varanasi has specially weaved a scarf which PM Modi can dress during the main function on August 5. BJP MLA Ajay Singh has presented a 15 kg silver brick for Shilanyas.

– 1,11,000 laddu sweets are being prepared by followers of Devrah baba sthal at Maniramdas Chhavni for offering to Ram lalla and later distribution to the people on Shilanyas day.
– Union Tourism minister last week visited Ayodhya joined by Tourism minister of Uttar Pradesh to search possibilities of tourism development in Ayodhya. Tourism minister also called on Tirthbhumi Trust’s Champatrayji.

– Ram lalla’s murti will dress in green silk dress on August 5. The dress will have yellow and red color borders. The dress is being tailored by Shankar Lal at Babu lal tailors. Ram lalla dresses in white dress on Mondays, red dress on Tuesdays, green dress on Wednesdays, Yellow dress on Thursdays, cream color dress on Fridays, blue color dress on Saturdays and pink dress on Sunday. 5th August is Wednesday and therefore Ram lalla murti will be dressed in green dress.
– Akhand Ramayan path and Sundarkand path will continue during Shilanyas ceremony throughout Ayodhya.
– Delhi based KLA construction is cleaning the stone parts of proposed temple that were lying in open for last 28 years and therefore had developed layers. 23 types of chemicals are being used to clean the stones and shine them again. 15 skilled laborers are on the job to do this task. Many visitors had written their names on these stones. They are being removed.

– It is believed that on the main stage, only PM Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Aditya Nath and Trust’s president Mahant Nritya Gopal Das will remain present during the Shilanyas function. 180 persons are invited to attend the function. 30,000 square feet tend will host the function.
– We are continuously keeping a watch across the VIP routes via drones. There are no movement restrictions for the people residing in Ayodhya. I urge people not to step outdoors to contain Covid-19. We will not let outsiders enter the city, said a local police officer adding that more than five people will not be allowed to gather at a place but shops can open in the temple town.
