January 08, 2021
Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has decided to create new Bagasara Prant in Amreli district with a view to take the state’s revenue services nearer to the people and provide services faster.
The newly created Bagasara Prant would come into effect on January 26, 2021 and would include Bagasara and Vadiya talukas, following the district administration’s request.
Since districts with larger geographical area cause inconvenience to the people, the state government has been reorganizing smaller districts and talukas for administrative convenience, faster development, reduce workload as well as saving the people from travelling long distances to revenue unit headquarters. Now the government has taken up reorganization of Prants.
