25 more ambulances put on roads, another 75 in next two months: Nitin Patel

Gandhinagar: Health minister Nitin Patel today announced that the State government will put as many as 75 new ambulances on roads in next two-three months. He said the chasis and vehicles have been purchased and the task of equipping them is also underway. He also said that 25 ambulances have been put on roads today. He said there are 800 ambulances functioning under 108 emergency service at present across the State against requirement of 600. He said Gujarat is the only State to have public ambulances equipped with oxygen bottles and even ventilators. DeshGujarat
